Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how QuxKit (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our website, libraries, hosted services, and applications (the “Services”). It also describes your rights and how to exercise them.

1Who we are

QuxKit is the controller of the personal data described in this policy for our own website and hosted services. When we process personal data on behalf of a customer using our hosted application, we act as a processor and the customer is the controller; that processing is governed by our agreement and, where applicable, a Data Processing Addendum.

2Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account data — name, email address, password (stored only as a salted, peppered hash), and organization details.
  • Billing data — plan, and payment details collected and stored by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Content — data you enter into the hosted Services and support communications.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and diagnostic/log data.
  • Device data — IP address, browser type, and similar technical information.
  • Cookies — see Section 5.

3How we use personal data

We use personal data to:

  • provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services;
  • authenticate you and maintain your sessions;
  • process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • respond to support requests and send service-related communications;
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
  • comply with legal obligations.

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (to provide the Services), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Services), consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing, where required), and legal obligation.

4How we share personal data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:

  • with service providers (sub-processors) who process data on our behalf — such as hosting, payment processing, and email delivery — under contract;
  • to comply with law or a valid legal request, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy;
  • with your consent or at your direction.

5Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Services. Where required, we request consent before setting non-essential (analytics or preference) cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working.

6Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for the period required to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may request deletion as described in Section 8; some data may be retained where we have a legal basis to do so.

7Security & international transfers

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

8Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. If you are in California, you have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell it) and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required.

11Contact

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact [email protected]. See also our Terms of Service.
